Going back almost 30 years, Chris has been recording. From comedy bits on an old boom box with his brother, to full band sessions on a simple dictation machine in the garage. As audio technology evolved, so did Chris’ passion for music production. It lead him to study at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences before becoming an intern and quickly moving up the ladder in some of the best studios New York has to offer.
After serving as Head Engineer at The End Studios in Brooklyn for several years, Chris has shifted his operations to be entirely freelance so as to better serve his clients. This flexibility means he can record and mix anywhere according to your needs and budget, including your own home, where he can bring his own studio quality, analog mobile rig.
Chris welcomes all genres and budgets! His past work includes albums and singles by Talib Kweli, 9th Wonder, Eric Krasno, Wet, Ka, Pharoahe Monch, Destiny Music Group, NIKO IS, Charlie Hilton, December 99th (Yasiin Bey/Ferrari Sheppard), Yak Nasty That NiLLa, Adult Swim, DJ Preservation, Anderson .Paak, K Valentine, Monogold and Jessica Care Moore.
